Review: Baby Lips Lip Balm by Maybelline

Konnichiwa everyone~ I know I have been absent for quite a lot of time but the pressure of school is really getting to me! I have to focus on school but my mind as well as mental state refuse to! Needless to say that preparing for exams to get into university is really stressing! Additionally,my favourite band (ViViD) is disbanding so you understand what a wreck I am right now. :(

Anyways~ Today I'm gonna tell you about my experience with Baby lips Lip Balm by Maybelline! I have this cutie for about 1 month and I really love it~ Let's get started!

Description by Maybelline:

No more basic lip balm.
Our exclusive formula moisturizes lips for a full 8 hours.
Lips are renewed after 1 week* (*Based on panelists’ self-evaluations)
In 6 varieties

First of all,let me tell you about the fragnance. I really love it and it's kind of strong, something a lot of people might not like. I am a fan of cosmetics with fragnance so I really loved its fruity scent. I literally just carry it around to sniff it when I am not using it.
Moreover, the package is really cute! It reminds me of those tiny lip sticks we had when we were still very young! In addition to this, the product retracts which is pretty cool and usefull to me.

As regards hydration,I don't have much to say here. A lip balm is supposed to hydrate.Sadly, this products doesn't really meet the expectations. I'm not saying it is useless, but it doesn't do what it claims. You need to apply at least two layers and it definitely doesn't moisturizes the lips for 8 whole hours.
Furthermore,it claims it gives a tint of color and it really does! At least the pink punch C: I also noticed that it kinda makes the lips appear fuller.
What's your opinion about it? I'm sure many people have used this before :)

REVIEW: CC Cream by Bioten

Koinnichiwa~ How are you doing? It's getting really cold here in Athens and it might snow! Though,I doubt it. In my previous haul,I showed you a CC Cream I got and today I am here to review it!

Before reviewing the product ,let me tell you some nice things for Bioten. First and foremost,Bioten is cruelty-free,something really important to me. Also,I need to tell you that most of their products(if not all) are Paraben free and  organic.!
Now,let's get started. I got the light shade. Sadly.there are only two shades. Light and Medium. But the light one fits perfectly to me. C:
 (oops,poured to much.)

What it says it does:

  • Unifies the skin tone and keeps a radiant complexion through-out the day, thanks to mineral pigments and advanced natural activities.
  • Covers imperfections such as blemishes, spots, fatique signs and fine lines.
  • Illuminates the skin, highlighting its natural tone
  • Provides immediate moisture which lasts up to 24 hours, thanks to hydronutrient 24H and 100% natural Quince extract deriving from eco-friendly and gentle extractions methods.
  • Penetrates rapidlt the skin due to its light formulation, while providing optimum coverage
  • Protects the skin from UV radiation and premature aging. SPF 20

First of all, Let me tell you that my skin type is mixed. By applying it to my face,I immidiately felt my skin mostirurized but kind of oily. Also, I don't have acne. I only have some blemishes and uneven tone.( and eye bags of course...) One layer  gave me an almost even tone but without covering perfectly. Though,I didn't use anything else with it such as poweder, concealer or primer. Moreover,I gotta say that I had it for up to 12 hours and it was totally fine. But it doesn't last for 24H as it claims

Concluding,I would buy it again and I give it 7/10. However, I don't recommend it to people with oily skin.
Have you used this product? :)
I would love to hear your opinion! Don't forget to subscribe! C:

Review: CC Cream By Tommy G

Konnichiwa~ I know I've been gone for quite a lot time, but I think I am ready to be back! The weather here in Athens has gone crazy so I decided to make a review about a product that I bought about two weeks ago.

It's CC Cream for dry skin by Tommy G cosmetics and to be honest I'm kind of disappointed. the product was total bullshit
So,let's take a look on what it claims it does.
  • Hydrates
It does.
  •  Gives a matte finish that lasts

It gives a matte finish but it hardly lasts an hour! For real, the make up artist put it on my face and when I arrived home,(about 2 hours later) It had disappeared completely!
  • Gives uniform tone and radiance

Not really.

  • Covers pores and blemishes
And this is the worst part,it doesn't cover anything. The day I bought it, my skin was perfect (  We all have those days that our skin is nice for once,no? )  and so I was amazed by how matte it made my face look so I bought it. After three days, my skin was really bad, dry, dull  etc, so I tried to put on this cc cream. I got so frustrated. It didn't cover anything.  It was like I hadn't put anything on.

I read some reviews about this product and I was kind of confused. I know everyone's skin is different but still... At least it has SPF 20.

Would I buy it again? Hell no.
Price: 12,99 € for 35ml

Have you tried this product? Which cc cream is your favourite? Do you have anything to suggest? ( TДT)

My 3 favourite Lipsticks

Hello everyone!  So today,I'm gonna show you my three favourite lipsticks. I really enjoy using lipsticks and my favourite lipstick colour is Red! Though, I still haven't found the perfect red lipstick for me.

1. Estee Lauder Lipstick Electric 702 Switched-On.
This lipstick is actually nice and it moisturizes the lips. It looks dull but when you apply it's a cute pink colour. (At least on my lips). In my view,it is more suitable for summer.

2. Max factor moisture rich plum 20
This lipstick is darker than  the previous one and it looks more fuchsia-ish. It moisturizes the lips very well and it is more suitable for Autumn. It flatters my lips and makes them look fuller than they actually are. I stole this one from my mother since she has never used it and wasn't gonna do it anyway,so why not?  hehe :)

3. L'oreal Paris Glam Shine Lipstick Baby Pink 219
Last but not least, this cutie here ^_^  I really like its colour and smell. During winter,I  use a lip pencil then apply it to make the colour darker but during summer I don't usually apply lip pencil. ( Apparently, this lipstick is really shy since I had a hard time trying to take a picture of it while it kept rolling away.

Have you tried these lipsticks? Which one is  your favourite?

How to fix a cracked eyeshadow

Did you Just drop your favourite eyeshadow and now it's cracked, but you don't wanna throw it away? No problem! You can just fix it!  The eyeshadow I fixed was not my favourite one though

What you will need:
  1. Cracked eyeshadow(obviously)
  2. Tissue
  3. Spray bottle
  4. Rubbing Alcohol
  5. Pen or Pencil
  6. Coin
INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1:  Smash the big pieces till it becomes powder, using a pencil.

Step 2: Pour alcohol in the spray bottle and then spray the eyeshadow.

Step 3: Wrap the tissue around the coin.

Step 4: Now press the coin down on the eyeshadow for about 20-30 seconds.

Step 5:  Remove the coin and clean up the mess around the edges.

And you are done! This is a pretty nice trick to fix smashed eyeshadows.

Tip:
  •  If you are going to fix an eyeshadow that's in a palette, make sure to cover the other ones before spraying the alcohol.
If you have anything to suggest, please be my guest :)
